Team Cryptic didn’t start as a company. It didn’t even start as a team. It started as a dream a blurry but burning vision in the heart of someone who knew they were meant for more. It started with late nights grinding in competitive lobbies, with friends talking about “what ifs” and “one days,” with a passion for gaming that no one outside the community could quite understand. It started with me, Nic Walton and with you in mind.

I created Team Cryptic because I saw something missing in the esports world. Sure, there are big orgs, there are talented players, and there are exciting events but there wasn’t a team that represented the underdogs with vision, the grinders with fire, and the leaders with heart. There wasn’t a brand that combined elite skill, creator-driven content, meaningful community, and a relentless desire to innovate the future of gaming culture. So I decided to build it.

The name Cryptic symbolizes mystery, depth, and mastery. We don’t just play games we decode them. We dissect them. We dominate them through intelligence, creativity, and grit. Our name reflects a kind of quiet confidence. We’re not loud until it’s time to be. We train in the shadows like ninjas. We strike in the spotlight. There’s always more beneath the surface and that’s exactly the point.

Team Cryptic is more than a gaming organization to me it’s a reflection of everything I stand for: discipline, loyalty, vision, and hustle. I grew up knowing what it’s like to feel underestimated, overlooked, and misunderstood. Gaming gave me an outlet, a world where merit speaks louder than money, and your grind can change your life. This team is the bridge between passion and opportunity. It’s about giving people the platform I never had. It’s about building something that outlives me.

Every player who joins, every fan who supports, every creator who reps the brand they become part of a brotherhood and sisterhood that’s deeper than a jersey or a logo. We lift each other up. We push each other harder. And we win not just in-game, but in life.

But even bigger than that we want to change lives.

There are thousands of gaming teams out there. But Team Cryptic is mine and it’s yours too. This team is built on real sweat, real ambition, and real love for the grind. I didn’t start this because I wanted to play around. I started this because I believe in the power of gaming to transform lives and I believe in the people who give it their all every day without the spotlight.
